Wedding days are special and I still regard being a couples official photographer as an honour.

The first thing I do is give the couple a list of traditional photos taken on the day and ask them to decide between them which ones they would like, this helps to give an idea of how many images and what types are required.

Then I meet up with the couple and show them some of my work, with a view to helping them decide what type of album they might want the photos presented in and what style (formal, informal, reportage, black and white).

If possible at this stage I would like to photograph the couple to insure that we are all comfortable and that I might learn as much about them as I can about them as subjects before the big day.
